Bringing together a wide range of digital history resources – from family and local history, through religion, politics and government, to the history of entertainment – Connected Histories offers powerful natural language search tools to allow you to make new connections across a rich body of material.

The digital collections here include images, maps, ephemera, newspapers, church and government records and biographical material. Students can save and customise their searches and build collections which can be shared and contributed to by others.

Connected Histories is of interest to a wide range of people from students to researchers, across numerous fields, including history, politics, geography and geneaology. Online collaborative workspace is available for research and for teachers creating course material.
