Archaeology’s first fully refereed e-journal.
This collection of past and present issues of Internet Archaeology is more than a simple journal archive - the articles within each issue make use of digital technology to present archaeological research in an engaging format. A variety of interactive tools are utilised, such as full-colour images, searchable data sets, visualisations and interactive mapping.
The e-journal is published by the University of York in association with leading international universities that include Oxford, Sydney, Cambridge, Arizona and Glasgow, as well as professional archaeological consultants and members of the British Academy. All content is peer-reviewed and there are back issues of the e-journal available dating back to its inception in 1996.
Scholars, teachers and students of archaeology will benefit most from the study of this archive, as well as those working in the commercial archaeological sector and students, teachers or researchers with an interest in the growing proliferation of digital media and how interactive tools are utilised to present content for learning and research purposes.
