IOP Publishing’s full journal archive.
The collected editions of over 200 journals are stored within this archive, which represents the Institute of Physics’ full journal archive in electronic form. It provides an indispensable resource for the physics community, representing more than 130 years of some of the most important research ever published.
Journals within the collection run the gamut of physics-related specialisms and have particularly strong title collections from Europe, the Americas, the former Soviet Union and China. Titles include the renowned Journal of Physics series and New Journal of Physics, as well as the expert-level Bioinspiration & Biomimetics and Fluid Dynamics Research.
This is a specialised collection, offering much to both the undergraduate student with a general interest in certain fields of physics and specialist research and reports for those working at the highest and most experimental edges of their physics specialisms. The historical journal archive of some of the discipline’s older societies will also be of interest to those working with 19th and 20th century history.
The Historical Proceedings of the Physical Society of London, dating from 1874 to 1925 and the Transactions of the Optical Society, which was published from 1899 to 1932.
